For several years now, the RELAY network has supported Reporters without Borders and its cause of freedom of expression: in other words the right to inform and be informed according to article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The association Reporters without Borders celebrated its 25th anniversary and will publish, for the occasion of the 20th International Day for Freedom of the Press on May 3rd, an album in partnership with the prestigious agency MAGNUM Photos.
Founded in 1947 by famous photographers, including Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa, the Magnum agency offers 101 photos that immortalized the biggest events of the XXth century, as much on a social as on a political point of view.
Every centime of the €9.90 price of this collection of 101 photos will go to the organization to fund its actions in favour of freedom of the press: assisting journalists and their families, threatened media, etc.
The album will be available in RELAY outlets from the 29th of April, with all the money raised from sales going directly to Reporters without Borders, and will be advertised at no cost to the organization by:
-> A prominent position for the album in the display unit in front of the tills
-> A full screen animation on the network of plasma screens installed in over 140 RELAY outlets
-> A specially-dedicated page on www.relay.fr encouraging visitors to make a donation on the Reporters without Borders website.
